There’s something undeniably special about the New England coast in the colder months—the quiet, the light, the way the water feels endless and calm. This coastal wedding florals and invitations editorial at Misselwood Events at Endicott College in Beverly, MA captured that feeling perfectly.

Ella Farrell of Ella Farrell Photography invited me to create two bridal bouquets for this styled shoot, and it was an immediate yes. Despite the cold winter air, the sun dancing on the water made the day feel magical—one of those moments where the coast reminds you why couples are so drawn to coastal weddings in Massachusetts.
I’ve worked with Ella before, including a spring editorial at Mission Hill Estate, where I designed citrus-inspired wedding stationery. Her work is always pure magic—soft, romantic, and emotionally driven—making her the perfect collaborator for an editorial rooted in coastal wedding inspiration.
Two Coastal Wedding Bouquets, Two Stories
For this editorial, we explored how subtle shifts in color can change the feeling of a wedding day while still honoring a cohesive coastal aesthetic.
The first bouquet featured soft whites, creamy neutrals, and airy blues, inspired by sea glass, winter light, and the Atlantic just beyond the Misselwood lawn. This palette felt calm, refined, and timeless—perfect for couples dreaming of an elegant coastal wedding in New England.
The second bouquet leaned into soft whites, blush, and pale pinks, echoing coastal gardens and romantic seaside estates. Still light and natural, but warmer in tone—ideal for couples drawn to a softer, garden-meets-coast wedding style.
Both bouquets were designed with movement and intention, reflecting my belief that wedding florals should do more than decorate a space—they should create a feeling and tell a story.
Coastal Wedding Stationery with Texture & Detail
Alongside the florals, this editorial featured blue and white coastal wedding stationery paired with a subtle coastal caning pattern invitation suite. The texture and palette were inspired by classic seaside design—woven details, heirloom elegance, and timeless coastal charm.
Stationery is often the first glimpse guests have into a wedding day, and for coastal weddings especially, it sets the tone long before the celebration begins. This suite was designed to feel elevated yet approachable, refined yet relaxed—just like a coastal Massachusetts wedding should feel.

This editorial was a reminder of how beautifully Misselwood lends itself to coastal wedding design—whether that means soft blues and whites, romantic blush tones, or classic seaside textures layered throughout the day.
