I had the absolute best time designing florals for Sarah & Luke’s intimate spring elopement! Their love story unfolded in the heart of nature, surrounded by fresh blooms, soft pastels, and the promise of a new season. Every detail was thoughtfully crafted to bring their vision of a romantic and adventure-filled wedding to life.
For this unique elopement, we embraced the couple’s love for skiing and designed florals that beautifully complemented the snowy mountain setting at Gunstock Resort in Gilford, New Hampshire. One of my favorite elements was an arrangement designed to attach to a pair of skis, which also doubled as a statement piece at the ceremony entrance. The same arrangement was later repurposed and placed on the back of a chairlift for the couple’s celebratory ride after their vows.
To frame the ceremony space, I created two lush arrangements in vintage urns, adding a romantic, old-world charm to the winter landscape. The bride’s bouquet was a dreamy meadow-garden style arrangement in soft peach and pink hues, accented with touches of blue for a fresh, wintery feel. To tie in the ski theme, I even crafted a boutonniere using mini wooden skis and poles—a fun, one-of-a-kind detail that truly brought the concept to life.
No elopement is complete without beautiful stationery to set the tone for the celebration! For Sarah & Luke’s ski-themed wedding suite, I designed a collection featuring hand-painted pine trees and mountain watercolors. The suite included:
