Hi, I’m Adriane Schultz, CEO, lead designer, and the creative heart behind Anaphora. I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember. As a child, I spent hours illustrating horses and birds, filling sketchbooks, and taking every art class I could—even independent studies in high school. Those early years spent sketching horses, birds, and whatever inspired me naturally led to a degree in graphic design and, ultimately, to the place where I now bring wedding stories to life through flowers and paper.

Hi, I’m Adriane Schultz, CEO, lead designer, and the creative heart behind Anaphora. I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember. As a child, I spent hours illustrating horses and birds, filling sketchbooks, and taking every art class I could—even independent studies in high school. Those early years spent sketching horses, birds, and whatever inspired me naturally led to a degree in graphic design and, ultimately, to the place where I now bring wedding stories to life through flowers and paper.
But it wasn’t until I designed flowers for a close friend’s wedding that everything clicked. The way florals, invitations, and atmosphere transformed a space felt electric. I realized weddings were the perfect place to bring all my creative passions together. That moment is where Anaphora quietly began.
I went on to study at the Boston School of Flower Design and refine my craft—blending illustration, color theory, and design into a wedding experience that feels both intentional and artful.
Life Beyond the Studio
When I’m not designing, I’m most often at home enjoying time with my family and our five golden retrievers. Yes, five! We also raise golden puppies, so there’s never a dull moment. Not to mention, there’s always a reason to vacuum again. I love exploring the outdoors, walking in the woods near our home, discovering new beaches, or slowing down with a watercolor project or yoga practice.
Life is full, joyful, and a little messy in the best way, and those moments beyond the studio fuel my creativity and the way I approach each wedding.
